Sany Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd (600031.SH), the sixth-largest heavy machinery manufacturing company has been fighting against the reports that they are cutting jobs on a large scale since the begining of this year. But local media reported again that one of its branch, Sany Zhangjiakou Wind Power Technology Co., LTD, located in Zhangjiakou city, Hebei province, was totally collapsed.

Only 4 clerks were left to do some remedial works, and the branch used to have 180 staff and was registered with 100 million yuan in 2009.

Workers in Sany Electric Co. Ltd, a part of Sany group and the direct controlling company of Zhangjiakou branch, said that Zhangjiakou branch was not the only production base having stopped functioning, the rest bases were successively shut down since the begining of this year.

"Workers were forced to leave,because the company has implemented a new rule to pay salaries, which is based on workload, but actually there were few new orders. They have to leave when they find no way to meet the requirement," said one of the clerks in Zhangjiakou.

As stated in the official website of Sany Electrical Co., the company has approximately 3000 workers. But latest news reported that there are no more than 1000 workers left.

Sany Electric was reported the companies first started wind power projects in China, and was reported having invested 3.15 billion in the field up to August 2011. But its market share was only 1 percent in China. Net profits in wind power industry decreased 97 percent in first quarter of this year.
