iPhone 5 is easily scratched, too easy

After the poor mapping app, here the brand new iPhone 5 brings another shock: poor manufacturing of back painting.

According to ChannelNews, some owners said that their white iPhone 5 models were affected by what appears to be poor manufacturing, the problem was more prevalent with black iPhone 5 smartphones.

One user rubbed keys and a SIM card across the back of a black iPhone 5 display model in a store to see if it is susceptible scratches only to see the paint peel off.

Some dissatisfied iPhone 5 owners posted photos online showing what appears to be nicks and scuffs on their brand-new devices straight out of the box.

"Mine arrived today with small scratches on the right out of the box. Looks like they chipped the anodized coating putting the screen in, and there is a small mark on the lower back too, by the glass section," wrote MacRumors commenter spr97ajm.

Another forum user Sick z33 said that his black iPhone also came with a ‘couple of the nicks.' ‘Will use the phone till Apple decides to release something regarding the issue,' the smartphone owner concluded.

In Aisa, buyers in Singapore and Hong Kong also had similar complaints.
