China's IPTV user base reached 19.74 million in Q3 2012, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently announced.

According to figures from Chinese broadcasting industry information and statistics portal Liumeiti (lmtw.com), China's IPTV user base reached 23 million by the end of 2012. Jiangsu province leads the rest of the country with a total of 4.10 million IPTV users.

China's IPTV user base is forecast to reach 33 million in 2013.
