China's aircraft carrier anchors in navy port

China's first aircraft carrier anchored for the first time in a navy port in eastern Shandong province on Wednesday, state media reported, showing the country owns military bay with logistic capacities.
The carrier, the Liaoning, left the wharf of Dalian ship building company on Tuesday, Xinhua News Agency reported, and arrived at the aircraft carrier port in Qingdao.
The port has been constructed for four years, and has well equipped with facilities to guarantee water, electric power, gas and oil, Xinhua said.
It also said the Liaoning had conducted tests on its weapon system during the sail, and doesn’t have any problems that need dockyard to debug.
According to a comment by the military channel of Sina.com, posted on its official Sina Weibo account on Wednesday, the Liaoning is expected to conducted tests and training related to the shipboard aircraft.
After its delivery to the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy on Sept. 25, the Liaoning has undergone a series of sailing and technological tests, including the flight of the carrier-borne J-15.
